Looking for an opportunity to grow, learn and flourish as an Occupational Therapist?

We are currently seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Occupational Therapy In-Home Assessments to assess Attendant Care Needs (Form 1) and assistive devices
  • Provide treatment with Implementation of functional and cognitive strategies and techniques as appropriate
  • Demonstrate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles with all clients and family members
  • Document accident benefits initial and progress reports
  • Supervise rehab support worker with carry through of Occupational Therapy goals
  • Provide education to clients/family; follow-up with progress with respect to SMART goals
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and participate in meetings
  • Facilitate rehabilitation of client with cognitive, emotional or physical impairments
  • Monitor and assess client rehabilitative programs
  • Convey treatment results and client progress to an interdisciplinary team
  • Organize and update client records

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy Insurance from respective association (i.e. CAOT, OSOT)
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Previous experience in the auto insurance sector is an asset
  • Passion to help and motivate others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
