Position Overview:
The Process Engineer is responsible for driving the enhancement of business processes at Richardson Wealth to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, and the overall advisor and client experience. The Process Engineer will work closely with Operations Journey Owner and various stakeholders to assess existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to drive operational excellence and optimal user experience for Richardson Wealth that will enable the firm to improve operational efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities:

Process Analysis and Assessment

Work with the Journey Owners to identify existing processes that need improvement through analysis, data collection, and feedback from stakeholders
Evaluate the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of current processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights into pain points and bottlenecks

Develop a comprehensive process improvement roadmap and prioritize process improvement initiatives based on their potential impact and feasibility
Conduct research activities to define current pain points and map ideal future experiences applying process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles
Ensure deliverables address applicable legal, compliance regulatory and internal policy requirements
Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, changes, and best practices

Agile Delivery & Execution

Participate in various agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily check-ins, and weekly syncs, etc.) as the analytical engine of the team
Present sprint deliverables to leadership and incorporate feedback

Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or operations, ideally within financial services or wealth management
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) or equivalent process improvement/reengineering credential strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with process mapping and business process reengineering methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, value stream mapping)
Proficiency with process mapping and BPM tools (e.g., Visio, Salesforce, Power Platform) and familiarity with data analysis/statistical process control
Exposure to intelligent automation or RPA tools is an asset
PMP or other formal project management certification is an asset
Strong understanding of wealth management operations (account opening, transfers, money movement) is preferred
Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance standards in financial services (e.g., IIROC/CIRO requirements) is an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate research and data into clear, actionable process designs
Proficiency in process mapping, flowcharting, and business process reengineering techniques
Data-driven decision making, with comfort using KPIs and performance metrics to validate and track improvements
Excellent stakeholder management, interviewing, and change management skills across diverse business functions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on a sprint-based cadence
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings and recommendations to leadership
Working knowledge of regulatory, risk, and compliance considerations relevant to financial services operations
Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $71,000-$95,000.The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity.
