Marketing Lead

About the Role
As Marketing Lead, you’ll own the execution and evolution of Future Kind’s marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with the owners to grow brand awareness, grow our customer base, improve retention, and strengthen our brand across every customer touchpoint.
This is a highly cross-functional role with broad ownership across Future Kind’s marketing initiatives. Your primary focus will be developing compelling creative, owning our content and social media strategy, leading product launches, and collaborating with agency partners to execute best-in-class digital marketing. You’ll help shape the customer experience across our website, email marketing, advertising, and social channels while ensuring every touchpoint reflects the Future Kind brand.
The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with excellent project management and organizational skills. You don’t need to be an expert in every marketing discipline, but you should be comfortable collaborating with agency partners, managing projects from concept to execution, and creating marketing that drives results.
What You’ll Do
- Own and execute Future Kind’s overall marketing strategy.
- Manage our marketing calendar across campaigns, promotions, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.
- Lead the creative direction for paid advertising campaigns while partnering with external agencies to optimize performance.
- Continuously improve the website experience through new landing pages and content that support SEO and conversion goals.
- Lead the strategy and creative direction for email and SMS marketing.
- Own Future Kind’s content strategy, including blogs, website copy, email campaigns, advertising copy, and educational content.
- Fully own Future Kind’s social media presence, including content planning, creative development, publishing strategy, and performance analysis.
- Lead influencer and affiliate partnerships, from identifying creators and managing outreach to coordinating campaigns and measuring results.
- Own the marketing strategy and execution for new product launches across all customer-facing channels.
- Manage relationships with paid media agencies, SEO partners, photographers, videographers, freelancers, and other external marketing partners.
- Develop an understanding of marketing performance across channels and use insights to make thoughtful recommendations.
- Develop an understanding of key marketing metrics, including ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion rate, AOV, retention, and subscription growth, to help guide marketing decisions.
- Identify new growth opportunities through testing, experimentation, and customer insights.
- Collaborate closely with the owners on brand positioning, messaging, and long-term growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must have experience in brand marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, or e-commerce marketing.
- Experience working with direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, ideally in health, wellness, supplements, beauty, or consumer packaged goods.
- Strong creative instincts with an eye for branding, design, and customer experience.
- Excellent copywriting and written communication skills.
- Experience creating marketing assets using Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Working knowledge of paid social advertising, SEO, email marketing, and e-commerce, with the ability to collaborate effectively with agency partners.
- Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or cross-functional partners.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable analyzing marketing performance and translating insights into action.
- Self-starter who enjoys ownership and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
