Customer Service Representative

Our client is a well-established organization in the electrical distribution industry seeking a Customer Service Representative – Inside Sales to join their Edmonton team.
This role is ideal for a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and developing technical product knowledge.
What you’ll do

• Respond to customer inquiries and proactively generate sales with existing customers
• Process orders, pricing, quotes, expediting, billing and returns
• Provide product and technical support to customers and Account Managers
• Resolve customer concerns and troubleshoot product-related issues
• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to grow sales
• Stay informed on market conditions, competition and product opportunities
• Support sales meetings, training and other branch initiatives

What you bring

• Grade 12 education; post-secondary or technical education is an asset
• 1–3 years of related sales or customer service experience
• Electrical industry experience is preferred
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organization and time management
• Ability to build relationships and handle objections professionally
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
