The Opportunity

Rightway Recruitment is representing a well-established electrical contractor in Greater Vancouver that is continuing to grow its service division. They are looking for an experienced Red Seal Service Electrician who is confident working independently, troubleshooting electrical issues, and dealing directly with customers.

This isn't simply a role where you're handed a work order and sent to site. You'll take ownership of service calls, diagnose issues, recommend solutions, provide estimates, and become a trusted point of contact for customers.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your work in the field while being backed by a supportive office team and ownership group. The company offers steady, long-term work alongside the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as the service division continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Complete electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across Greater Vancouver
Diagnose electrical issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions
Manage service calls independently from initial assessment through completion
Provide a high level of customer service and communicate clearly with clients
Prepare accurate estimates and identify additional electrical work or repairs where required
Coordinate with office administration and ownership to schedule and complete service work
Use field software for scheduling, estimating, invoicing, and job documentation
Maintain accurate records of work completed
Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes and company standards
Take ownership of smaller projects and service jobs through the company

What You Bring

Red Seal / TQ Journeyman Electrician certification
4+ years of electrical service experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Comfortable working independently and making sound repair recommendations
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to accurately estimate electrical service and repair work
Comfortable using smartphones, field applications, and service management software
Organized and able to manage multiple service calls and priorities
Valid BC Driver's Licence

Compensation & Benefits

$40.00 - $60.00/hour depending on experience
