Position:We are seeking a poker-fluent Social Media Manager to operationally manage and bring together GGPoker's social media output, day-to-day execution, video and content coordination, copywriting alignment, and team management, while ensuring everything reflects a consistent, authentic brand feel. You'll oversee the daily posting schedule, coordinate closely with Copywriting and Creatives, and manage the social media team to keep output seamless across platforms. A strong understanding of video editing is important so you can guide and support the team even if you're not cutting video yourself. Your poker passion should come through in the content and inform input on organic strategy. You will report to the Head of GGPoker.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Personally execute and coordinate the daily posting schedule and content calendar across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X, and emerging platforms, working alongside the team rather than solely directing it.
• Coordinate with the Copywriting team on post copy and messaging.
• Coordinate with Creatives on video and visual content, with enough working knowledge of video editing to guide pacing, cuts, and format decisions.
• Ensure all content reflects consistent brand voice and feel across channels.
• Monitor trends, poker news, and community conversations to keep content timely and relevant.
• Provide input on organic social strategy, grounded in poker culture and community knowledge.
• Support influencer, ambassador, and creator collaborations, coordinating content needs.
• Engage directly with the community and support community management alongside the team.
• Track post and content performance, adjusting scheduling and format based on what's working.
• Keep social content aligned with ongoing marketing campaigns and poker events.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of poker, including gameplay, terminology, culture, and the community, required.
• Hands-on experience running social media output day to day, not just overseeing it.
• Strong understanding of video editing principles and tools, enough to guide and give feedback to editors, even if not hands-on daily.
• Comfortable working closely with a copywriting team rather than writing all copy independently.
• Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter/X, including what performs on each.
• Strong sense of brand voice and consistency across content and channels.
• Experience engaging directly with online communities.
• Experience in iGaming or online poker is strongly preferred.
• Ability to translate poker knowledge into organic content ideas and strategic input.
• Good instincts for reading performance data and adjusting content and team direction accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate vision, feedback, and results clearly.
• Strong analytical, logical, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable coordinating and aligning with a team while also executing independently.
• Able to manage multiple moving pieces and tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
