Role overview

Deliver alcohol and convenience orders across Edmonton using your personal vehicle. Work with company dispatch and delivery apps (Skip The Dishes, Uber Eats — must be registered or working toward registration). Enforce Alberta liquor rules and provide professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Pickup and deliver orders to customer locations on time.
Verify ID (18+) and refuse service to underage or intoxicated customers; document refusals.
Load/unload vehicle and inspect vehicle condition.
Collect payments (cash/POS), record deliveries, and report incidents.
Use a smartphone for dispatch, navigation, and customer contact.

Requirements

18 years or older (Alberta legal drinking age).
ProServe certification (Alberta responsible liquor service); proof at hire or complete within probation — company will reimburse training if needed.
Valid Alberta driver’s licence and clean driving record.
Personal vehicle with insurance that covers delivery work; smartphone with data.
Able to lift 25–40 kg; available evenings, weekends, and late nights.

Qualifications

Delivery driving or courier experience preferred.
Strong customer service, time management, and reliability.

Onboarding Checklist

Legal risk for delivering to minors or intoxicated persons — enforce ProServe procedures, two‐ID checks, and refusal documentation.
Insurance/liability: require proof of delivery‐appropriate coverage or offer company commercial options.
Safety: live‐share option, emergency protocol, and buddy system for late shifts.
