You will be running water cannons and lancing equipment at pressures up to 40,000 PSI, entering vessels and tanks under permit, and cleaning exchangers on tight turnaround schedules. We are hiring for multiple projects this fall, so strong crew members can expect steady work through the season and first consideration for the next one. What You'll Do
- Operate high pressure water blasting equipment at pressures up to 40,000 PSI, including water cannons, hand lances, and rigid and flex lancing systems.
- Clean storage tanks, process vessels, columns, and heat exchangers, removing scale, sludge, coke, and hardened process deposits.
- Perform vessel and confined space entry work under permit, following the site entry, air monitoring, and rescue plans at all times.
- Support exchanger bundle cleaning, tube lancing, and shell side cleaning during turnarounds and shutdowns.
- Set up, inspect, pressure test, and tear down pumps, hoses, guns, and containment before and after every job.
- Participate in pre job hazard assessments, tailgate meetings, and equipment inspections, and stop work when conditions are not right.
- Contain, transfer, and dispose of waste, sludge, and wash water in line with client procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE, including blast suits, respirators, and supplied air where the job calls for it.
- Work alongside turnaround and shutdown crews on tight schedules, on day or night shift as the project requires.
