Dispatcher

We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to manage, coordinate, and optimize freight transportation, driver scheduling, and fleet routing. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between drivers, operations, customer support, and clients to ensure timely deliveries, efficient route planning, and superior logistics execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan, map, and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and reduce transit times
• Maintain continuous communication with truck drivers, logistics teams, and clients regarding delivery status and updates
• Coordinate driver schedules, load assignments, and fleet resources to meet operational timelines
• Provide responsive customer support and resolve shipment inquiries, delays, or dispatch issues promptly
• Track vehicle locations and monitor delivery progress using logistics dispatching software
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, bills of lading, and delivery documentation

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics, freight management, or transportation coordination
• Strong understanding of route optimization, fleet operations, and supply chain logistics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with drivers and clients
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve under pressure, and manage fast-paced daily schedules
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and basic office applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; background in logistics preferred
