Industrial Refrigeration Technician (313A / G1)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Up to $55/hour (Negotiable Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and service industrial refrigeration systems and related mechanical equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to ensure maximum equipment reliability.
Inspect, maintain, and service gas-fired equipment, including boilers, heaters, and associated systems.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and participate in a scheduled on-call rotation as required.
Support equipment commissioning, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with customers and internal technical teams to maximize system performance and minimize downtime.
Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.

Qualifications

Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Licence.
G1 Gas Technician Licence preferred (G2 will also be considered).
Strong experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems in manufacturing or process environments.
Ammonia refrigeration experience is considered a strong asset.
Solid mechanical, electrical, and control systems troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and technical drawings.
Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving abstract.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the maintenance team.
