Pay: CA$22.00–CA$48.00 per hour
Pay: Competitive wage based on experience (discussed during interview process)

We are currently seeking a Refrigeration Technician (313A Apprentice or Journeyperson) to join our growing team. We are especially interested in candidates who have completed, or are nearing completion of, their Refrigeration apprenticeship hours and are looking for a company that can provide long-term career growth and diverse opportunities.

This position offers exposure to both residential and commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, while providing opportunities to expand your skillset across our various divisions including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Gas Fitting, and Construction.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot commercial and residential refrigeration systems
• Service walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigeration equipment, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and related equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Participate in ongoing technical and professional development training
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Qualifications – Required

• Registered 313A Refrigeration Apprentice or Licensed 313A Refrigeration Mechanic
• Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving abstract
• ODP Certification
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Preferred

• Candidates who have completed or are nearing completion of their Refrigeration apprenticeship hours
• Residential refrigeration and HVAC experience
• Commercial refrigeration experience
• Experience with heat pumps and modern refrigeration systems
• G2 or G1 Gas Technician Licence considered an asset
