Job Description:Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service, providing Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons in accordance with Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services Basic and Advance Life Support Protocols, and organization policies and procedures. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Licenses

  • Valid Class 4 driver's license
  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)

Other Education and Training

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level C Certificate (CPR)
  • GAP training to NOCP 2011 Standards
  • Automated External Defibrillator Certificate (AED)
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke
  • Pre-Hospital Care Program - Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Level
