A leading insurance organization hiring a Senior Claims Examiner for their P&C commercial team. This is a senior-level technical role handling complex commercial property and liability claims. You will manage mid to high-exposure claims from first notice through resolution, with a strong focus on coverage analysis, litigation strategy, and stakeholder management. Adjuster License in Canada essential to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle mid to complex commercial property and commercial casualty / CGL claims through to conclusion
• Lead coverage investigations and draft detailed coverage position letters independently
• Manage litigated files, coordinating defense counsel and driving strategy through to resolution
• Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement exposure on higher-severity claims
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, insureds, attorneys, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• 4+ years commercial property and commercial casualty claims - essential to be considered
• Experience with other commercial claims highly beneficial
• Strong exposure to coverage interpretation and other coverage matters
• Experienced within litigation through all stages of the claims process
• Background with a reputable carrier or law firm
• Bachelor's degree required; Adjuster License in Canada essential
