Capital Project Coordinator
Saskatoon Public Schools is inviting applications for a full-time Capital Project Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager of Project Services, the successful candidate will support the planning, coordination and delivery of major capital and renewal projects, including new school construction and other large-scale facilities initiatives. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in alignment with divisional standards.
This is a full-time permanent position with duties to commence August 17, 2026.
The successful candidate will:
- Coordinate major capital and renewal projects from planning through occupancy and project closeout.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and school-based staff throughout all phases of a project.
- Support the development and maintenance of divisional design standards, Owner Project Requirements (OPRs), room data sheets and related planning documents.
- Review drawings, specifications and consultant deliverables to ensure alignment with divisional standards and operational requirements.
- Coordinate commissioning, warranty reviews, deficiency management and occupancy planning.

Provide project updates to senior administration and participate in the Facilities on-call rotation.
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience in construction project management, consulting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, design review, tendering, contracts and consultant coordination.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
We offer a salary range of $78,702 - $92,573 with a 37.5-hour work week plus a full range of benefits, including extended health care, dental, group life insurance, vacation and other paid days of leave.
