Toromont Cat is looking for a Crushing Parts Specialist to join our team! As a primary point of contact, our Crushing Parts Specialist plays a key role in understanding and providing proactive and valued parts solutions to ensure a superior customer experience.

$59,025.00 to $73,782.50
The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Manage Crushing parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the phone through our 1-800 phone line and by email in a timely and courteous manner
- Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
- Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties as well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers
- Provide on call service as required, at times on weekends and evenings
Must-haves for this role:
- 3+ years proven experience working in a parts operation
- Safety conscious and a mindset for continuous improvement
- Technical knowledge specific to the heavy equipment/truck parts industry would be an asset
- Customer-centric with a proven ability to build and sustain customer relationships through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Solid sales acumen with skills necessary to proactively and effectively link product knowledge to customer needs
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- A positive, self-motivated team player with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Computer and systems literate with proficiencies in Microsoft Applications
- Knowledge of DBS, CAT SIS, or experience with similar systems would be beneficial
- Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of the business needs
