Role overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Client Implementation Specialist (CIS) to manage the complete onboarding process for new clients. This role serves as the primary point of contact during implementation, ensuring a seamless transition by coordinating activities, setting up accounts, conducting training, and running initial payrolls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Implementation & Onboarding: Manage multiple client implementations from kickoff to completion, serving as the client’s main contact.
  • System Setup & Configuration: Configure HRIS platforms, validate requirements, and create client dashboards.
  • Client Consulting & Support: Consult with clients on payroll, HR, and benefits needs; recommend solutions; deliver training.
  • Data Management & Quality Assurance: Audit payroll/HR data, maintain project documentation, and ensure accuracy.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with sales, consulting, and internal teams to ensure smooth transitions.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in client implementation, payroll, HR, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of HR/Payroll Outsourcing, PEO industry operations, and payroll/tax processes.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, CRM platforms, and payroll software.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
