Patient Care Coordinator

Patient Care Coordinator – Fredericton, New BrunswickAvant Respiratory provides clinical consultation, diagnostic services, and treatment for a wide range of sleep disorders, helping patients across Canada sleep better and live better. We're growing, and we're looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Fredericton team.

What You’ll Do

• Be the first point of contact for patients and team members, answering questions and helping them get the support and care they need
• Collect patient medical histories and insurance information, and keep medical charts and patient data up to date
• Coordinate appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and follow-ups
• Answer and screen incoming calls, determining urgency and routing or scheduling as needed
• Support patients through insurance pre-authorizations and claims
• Track clinical activity and prepare reports as required
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order, arranging maintenance or repairs when needed
• Take on other related duties as they come up

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, supportive attitude
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or customer/client service
• Strong communication skills and a professional, mature demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Comfort learning new systems and processes
• Experience with an EMR system is an asset
• Experience in healthcare or sleep therapy is an asset, but not required – we provide training
• Bilingual French/English is an asset

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $18-$24/hour, based on experience
