Ace Beverage Group is looking for a People & Culture Intern to join our team and help us execute and improve our award-winning culture practices. We are looking for someone who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment, has great communication skills, and is eager to gain experience in a wide range of HR responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities
As our People & Culture Intern, you'll be stepping into a multi-faceted role. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in almost all areas of HR. You’d be coming in and being a meaningful contributor from day 1 in shaping the HR team at one of Canada’s fastest growing companies.

  • Office Management:At ABG, our HR team wears multiple hats. One of those entails helping maintain the office:
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies (i.e. refreshments, toiletries, stationary, etc.)
  • Providing support on IT, AV
  • Helping resolve any office unit maintenance issues
  • Recruitment:You'll help source, screen, and interview candidates. You’ll be involved in identifying top applicants, as well as guiding candidates through our hiring process, ensuring they have a smooth and positive experience.
  • General HR Duties: You’ll be able to work on projects that improve the documentation and standardization of HR policies and procedures.
  • Company Culture: We want someone who can help us maintain and enhance our awesome company culture. You'll help brainstorm and implement initiatives that keep our team collaborating and performing at their best.

Job Requirements and Competencies

  • A can-do attitude and a passion for learning
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to make a friendly impression through email, phone, and in-person interactions
  • A genuine interest in people and a desire to help them succeed
  • An ability and a drive to make process improvements
  • Must be in office a minimum of 4 days per week
  • A degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent is an asset
