About the Role

Working within the Cougars Athletics and Recreation department, these are flexible positions whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-five (35) hours per week. These positions will end March 31, 2027.

The Scoresheet Attendant will be a member of the Cougar Athletics Varsity Game Day Events Team. The position will be for the duration of the sport season for either basketball, hockey, soccer or volleyball. The Scoresheet Attendant is responsible for management of the scoresheet at each game. The position requires assisting with the set-up and tear down of varsity events, assisting in meeting Canada West requirements and supporting all other game day tasks as a part of our team.

Responsibilities

Set-up, test and use various gameday technology; troubleshoot as required
Collaborate with officials
Communicate clearly and effectively with officials, coaches and team staff
Adapt and help the game day team where needed as required by Game Day Supervisor
Ensure all requirements and regulations set-out by Canada West and U SPORTS are followed

Qualifications

1 - 6 months of related experience
Strong knowledge in basketball, hockey, soccer and/or volleyball
Ability to work all shifts between Thursday - Sunday afternoons and evenings.
Highly motivated individual who can work well independently and under pressure
Clear and consistent verbal communication skills
Strong focus and attention to detail
Commitment to time management and punctuality
Ability to lift items of up to 50lbs on an occasional basis

Salary:$15.45 - $19.44 per hour
