Inventory & Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk / Inventory Auditor / Cycle Counter to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, auditing stock levels, and supporting shipping operations to maintain efficient warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Shipping Clerk Duties

• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and manifests.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Verify orders for accuracy before shipment.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and carriers regarding shipment status.
• Ensure shipping records are maintained accurately.

B) Inventory Auditor Duties:

• Conduct inventory audits and investigate discrepancies.
• Verify inventory accuracy within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Analyze inventory variances and report findings to management.
• Assist with inventory control procedures and process improvements.

C) Cycle Counter Duties:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Identify and report inventory shortages, overages, and damages.
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation and reports.
• Support annual physical inventory counts.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse administration preferred.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
