Role overview

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, organized, discreet, and versatile Housekeeper to perform the weekly cleaning of a 5,500 sq/ft private residence located in Old Montreal (Square-Victoria area).

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the home is maintained clean, well-presented, and organized. This individual will work 1 day a week, (Tuesday or Wednesday), or have the option of 2 half days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping and Home Organization
Maintain the overall cleanliness of all areas, including general housekeeping, dusting, and floor care.
Perform deep cleaning as required, including refrigerators, BBQ, terrace, bathrooms, showers, and balconies.
Ensure the home remains clean, organized, welcoming, and always well-maintained.
Care for furniture, delicate surfaces, and items requiring special attention.
Ensure the residence remains functional, and orderly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as a Housekeeper, Household Assistant, or in the maintenance of a private residence.
Must be fluent in either English or French.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Discretion, reliability, honesty, and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Proactive, meticulous, versatile, and committed to maintaining high standards.
Respect for confidentiality and the household environment.
Positive attitude and strong adaptability.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Permanent part-time position (about 6-10 hours per week).
Schedule: Tuesday or Wednesday.
Work location: Montreal (Square-Victoria area), Quebec.
Option of employed or self-employed.
Residence accessible by public transportation.
On-site parking available.
