METALLURGICAL FOUNDRY TECHNICIAN

Are you someone who is willing to forego a gym by lifting 30-pound ingots and working in the heat, noise and dust of a foundry ? Would you like to join a cohesive team of employees where some have spent over 25 years there? Our client, situated in Montreal, is a leading manufacturer or commercial and military parts for the aerospace industry. They are looking for a strong-bodied individual who will be loading the furnace with 30-pound aluminum or magnesium ingots and pouring the molten metal to fill the molds. You will also be taught to use a spectrometer to measure the metal samples. Ideally, you have had foundry experience already ( ! ). Your afternoons will be free with even earlier Fridays as it's a 40-hour work week with the shift starting at 4:00 AM Monday to Friday.

Salary $25 - $30 per hour plus generous fringe benefits.
