Role overview

Looking for a role where you can influence innovation, supply strategy, and executive decision-making? As our Raw Material Qualification Program Manager, you'll lead the approval and qualification of raw materials that support new product launches and long-term supply resilience across North America and Asia. You'll work closely with senior leaders, collaborate across multiple business functions, and play a key role in a growing function with strong future leadership potential.
Job Status: Permanent Full-Time
Work Timings: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Work Location: Hybrid
Salary Range: $100,000–$115,000 per year
In this role, you will:

Lead end-to-end raw material qualification and approval projects, ensuring materials meet quality, regulatory, and commercial requirements before production use.
Coordinate and influence cross-functional stakeholders across Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Innovation, Formulations, and Supply Planning to keep approvals on track and aligned with business priorities.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain, review, and manage technical and compliance documentation, including CoAs, GMP certifications, manufacturing processes, and regulatory records.
Manage approval activities, change controls, risk assessments, and qualification records while prioritizing multiple concurrent projects based on business urgency.
Develop dashboards, reports, and executive-level summaries that provide visibility into project status, risks, timelines, and implementation progress.

You have:

A Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline such as Biotechnology, Nutrition, Chemistry, Food Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical, or related roles within nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, cannabis, agricultural commodities, or other regulated industries.
Demonstrated project management experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar training is an asset.
Experience interpreting technical specifications, supplier documentation, GMP requirements, regulatory compliance records, and raw material qualification processes.
Strong commercial awareness combined with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to make sound risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment.
