Role overview

General Labourers will play a crucial role in supporting warehouse operations by managing inventory, handling orders, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes. Working within a small team in a general merchandise warehouse environment, the ideal candidate will utilize warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software to maintain accuracy and productivity.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trailers using forklifts safely and efficiently
Feed production lines and manage product flow
Prepare and push skids with forklifts; double stack finished products
Handle packaging and parcels carefully according to destination labels
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on forklifts
Manage shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse
Maintain accurate invoices and receipts
Conduct manual order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse operations

Preferred Qualifications

Forklift operation experience, including Reach Trucks
Proficient with RF scanner use and inventory management software
Strong time management and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively within a small team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures
