About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packager to join their production team in Hamilton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a clean manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging finished products, completing quality checks, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products according to company specifications
• Inspect products for quality, defects, and accuracy before packaging
• Label, seal, and prepare products for shipping
• Assemble packaging materials such as boxes, inserts, and protective packaging
• Count and verify product quantities
• Maintain accurate production and packaging records as required
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Report damaged products, equipment concerns, or quality issues to the supervisor
• Assist with general production duties as required
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or packaging experience is considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
