Mindtech Academic Schools Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Montessori Teacher to join our growing team in Markham, Ontario. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys creating a positive, engaging learning environment while helping children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Compensation

$22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday through Friday
• Hours between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
• In-person position located in Markham, ON

What You'll Do

• Teach and support Lower and Upper Elementary Montessori students
• Create engaging lesson plans and classroom activities that encourage academic, social, and emotional development
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families
• Plan activities around children's developmental needs, special events, and seasonal learning opportunities
• Maintain compliance with CCEYA regulations and Public Health requirements
• Work collaboratively with staff to support student success

Qualifications

• Montessori diploma from a recognized accredited program including MACTE, AMI, TMI, AMS, or Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)
• Experience working with elementary-aged children
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for child development and education
• Reliable transportation, as public transit is limited to the school location
