The Readiness Manager for the Metrolinx plays a central role in ensuring that client successfully prepares the extension for operational handover. The position leads operational readiness across design, construction, systems integration, commissioning, safety assurance, and handover

  • (Internal Title: Project Management IV)
  • Operational Readiness Leadership:
  • Lead Client’s operational readiness strategy and roadmap
  • Coordinate readiness across engineering, construction, operations, and safety teams
  • Testing, Commissioning & Trial Operations:
  • Support commissioning planning, integrated testing, and trial operations
  • Development & maintenance of readiness documentation (System Safety Certification Strategy, System Definition Document, CPG Recommendation Reports, Risk Assessment Completion Declarations, Panel Presentations, Hazard Record, etc.)
  • Planning, executing & attending all imminent and future readiness panels and submissions to key-in with project timelines, including SRP/ORP/ISA/MSCC.
  • Coordinating documented 'low/high risk' appraisals with SSA/ISA for all project scope.
  • Attending recurring Readiness Control Board & ISA touchpoints.
  • Weekly touchpoints with Mx PDT to track scope-specific progress related to readiness submissions, adjust readiness strategy and forecasting & collect updated submittals.
  • Continuous improvement and streamlining of readiness process and future planning to reduce friction in readiness coordination with ORP/SRP/SSA/ISA.
  • Operations & Maintenance Readiness:
  • Oversee operational documentation, training materials, and asset information Asset Handover & Contractual Deliverables:
  • Risk Management and Reporting
  • Maintain readiness risk register and prepare executive reporting
  • Working Conditions
  • Office-based (5 Days in Office)

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • 7–10 years' experience in major transit or infrastructure projects
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Management
  • Education:
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Transportation, or related field, or relevant demonstrable experience
  • Licenses OR Certifications:
  • Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning, systems integration, and operations
  • Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management methods
  • Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Project Management software
  • Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
  • Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
  • Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
  • Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
  • Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
  • Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks
  • Expert ability to detect, capitalize, and be sensitive to others' strengths
  • Demonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacity

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
