THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a Licensed 310T Mechanicto join a well-established environmental services operation in the Niagara Region.
This is a hands-on maintenance role focused on preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a fleet of trucks and equipment. The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative team where safety, teamwork, and reliability are highly valued.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trucks and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air system issues
- Complete annual inspections and repairs through maintenance programs
- Perform general servicing, running repairs, and breakdown support as required
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation
- Troubleshoot and repair issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
- Support fleet reliability by identifying potential issues before failures occur
- Perform occasional outdoor repairs at landfill and composting operations
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of experience as a 310T Mechanic
- 310T Truck & Coach Technician License required
- Experience diagnosing and repairing trucks and heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air systems
- Experience with preventative maintenance and fleet servicing
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Freightliner experience is considered an asset
- Heavy equipment, construction, or environmental industry experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- Own tools required
