BLFC is positioned for leadership in Canada's food and beverage landscape. Our current brand portfolio includes Village Juicery, Dark Horse Espresso, Detour Coffee, Dear Grain Bakery, and Tori’s Bakeshop.
Big League Food Company is seeking a Full time Financial Analyst. If you are a proactive individual with hands-on experience we invite you to be part of our team.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly invoice process for Big League
  • Manage all customer inquiries
  • Manage AR across all companies (including payment posting)
  • Support ongoing projects or other full cycle accounting projects that are in demand
  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial statements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and team members as needed
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks is a must
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Accounting aptitude test will be conducted during the interview process

Compensation and other:

  • The wage range for this position is $18 - $21 per hour, depending on experience
