Role overview

Position Summary:
From performing daily inventory counts and on-hand inventory adjustments to updating product labels, the Cycle Counter is an integral part of the team. The shifts are Monday - Friday (with the exception of weekends for quarterly inventory counts). The wage range is $21.50 - $25.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities

Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as a top priorities
Perform ongoing, rotating inventory counts of merchandise
Ensure inventory is properly accounted for and controlled
Complete on-hand inventory adjustments
Updating inventory reports using Excel
Conduct quarterly inventories
Update product labels and support price changes
Position will be working inside and outside
Other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications

Broad knowledge of building supplies and home improvement products is an asset
Superior customer service skills
Must be available for quarterly inventory
Knowledge of Excel is an asset
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as team
Available to work flexible hours including weekends
Knowledge of basic mathematics
Physical requirements include:

o Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
o Standing for long periods of time

A positive can do attitude is essential!
