Role overview

Job Summary:

The Senior Change Management Consultant plays a critical role in guiding organizations through change by providing expert advice, coaching, and strategic leadership. This role focuses on developing and implementing change management strategies, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring successful adoption and sustainability of organizational changes. The consultant works closely with leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to manage the people side of change and drive transformational initiatives.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise, consultative advice, and coaching on change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Support leaders and teams in understanding change impact and managing resistance.
  • Act as a visible coach to change champions including leaders and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other specialists to integrate change practices.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and frameworks.
  • Lead communication efforts including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, and training plans.
  • Identify and analyze key stakeholders and develop stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Align change management activities to remove barriers and facilitate adoption.
  • Engage clients and stakeholders actively throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Articulate the purpose and benefits of change to impacted stakeholders.
  • Build consensus among clients, partners, and stakeholders on change initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate people-side risks and resistance.
  • Conduct change readiness assessments and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes through measurement systems.
  • Develop approaches to embed and institutionalize change to sustain benefits.

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Extensive experience with Organizational Change Management at an enterprise level.
  • Proven ability to manage large projects involving diverse stakeholders.
  • Expertise in creating communication plans, training plans, and other change management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of change management industry standards, best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent conflict management, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with project management fundamentals and project lifecycle understanding.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, presentation, and group facilitation skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Experience conducting change impact assessments on business processes and technology solutions.
  • Background leading medium to large transformational change projects.
  • Ability to apply structured change management methodologies across initiatives.
  • Experience developing actionable, targeted change management plans including coaching, sponsorship, and resistance management.
  • Skills in defining and measuring success metrics to monitor change progress.
  • Experience coordinating with communications, training, and HR specialists during implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Special Considerations:

  • Must have extensive enterprise-level Organizational Change Management experience; candidates without this will not be considered.
  • Experience handling complex stakeholder environments on large projects is mandatory.
  • Five days onsite presence required.

  • Standard work schedule with onsite requirement for five days.
