Technology Project Manager – Store Relays (Retail Projects)

Location: Mississauga, ON (100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Pay Rate: $50.00 – $62.50/hour
Duration: Contract through January 2027 (with potential extension)

About the Opportunity

Join a leading global retail organization undergoing large-scale store transformation initiatives across Canada. We are seeking experienced Technology Project Managers to lead end-to-end delivery of store relays, remodels, and technology refresh programs.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive execution across multiple parallel workstreams—including infrastructure, hardware deployment, and vendor coordination—ensuring seamless store readiness with minimal operational disruption.
What You’ll Be Doing

Project Delivery & Financial Oversight

Lead full lifecycle project delivery from planning through execution and close-out
Define scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and success metrics
Track financials, proactively identifying and resolving budget variances

Store Relay Execution

Drive technology implementation for store remodels and relays
Coordinate closely with construction, store operations, and technical teams
Manage multi-stream deployments (network, hardware, vendors) aligned to strict store timelines

Infrastructure & Hardware Coordination

Oversee procurement, delivery, and installation of IT hardware and network equipment
Partner with internal engineering and infrastructure teams
Review and collaborate on technical drawings and deployment plans

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

Lead daily standups and maintain alignment across cross-functional teams
Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes
Provide clear, consistent communication through status reports and stakeholder updates

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Maintain accurate project documentation for current and future use
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability

Installation Validation & Close-Out

Ensure successful system validation, connectivity, and store readiness
Complete project handoff, documentation, and financial closure

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

5–7 years of experience in technology or infrastructure project management
Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple concurrent projects
Strong understanding of networking and infrastructure concepts
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, structured environments and manage shifting priorities

Preferred:

PMP or CAPM certification
Experience in retail environments, store remodels, or multi-site deployments
