Part-Time Spanish Teacher (Grades 8-12)

Location: Langley Learning Center
Position: Part-Time (10 hours per week)
Start Date: September 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Spanish Teacher to provide engaging Spanish language instruction to students in Grades 8–12.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons for Grades 8–12.
• Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and Christ-centred classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate student records and collaborate with colleagues to support student success.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to teach in British Columbia).
• Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written Spanish.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Experience teaching middle and Highschool students is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Must be in agreement with the CHEK ABC statement of faith (www.chekabc.ca)
