Position Description
Reporting to the Dean, Faculty of Applied Science,
Construction and Engineering Technologies (FASCET), the Associate
Dean provides collaborative academic leadership and management of
the School of Apprenticeship & Skilled Trades and School of
Engineering Technologies in alignment with the strategic initiatives of
the College's academic plan. The Associate Dean is accountable for providing
both academic and administrative leadership, including supervision and
direction to faculty, managers, support staff, and students within their
portfolio. These Schools currently run 11 full-time programs, both
online and on campus, as well as 9 apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities

(PAC). Ensures positive and effective brand awareness of programs, working
collaboratively with Marketing and Communications, Registrar’s Office,
Community Partnerships Office, International Education Office, and other
areas to ensure positive reputation across the College and the community.

Manager, Academic Operations, divisional manager of finance and operations
and the Dean. Oversees and ensures fiscal accountability for all funding
sources accessed to operate the Schools’ programs and initiatives.
Educational and Experience Requirements
post-secondary institution in Mechanical Engineering or related
discipline.
designation in a registered trade is a strong asset.

education field, including management/leadership experience, preferably in
