Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Business Systems Analyst with 8+ years of professional experience to join our core engineering and product team immediately. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and full-stack technical execution, supporting scalable web applications and serverless architecture.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in translating complex business workflows into technical requirements for JavaScript/Node.js environments, hands-on experience mapping architectures utilizing AWS Step Functions and AWS Lambda, and strong data analysis skills using SQL. You should be comfortable working across the entire stack, from defining frontend interface logic to documenting backend microservices, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where system reliability and customer satisfaction are paramount.

This is a techno-functional role where the candidate is responsible for leading requirements gathering, collaborating with Full Stack Engineers and Scrum Masters to plan sprints, estimate stories, and manage delivery risks.

Key Responsibilities

Backend & Cloud Analysis

• Analyze and document technical requirements for robust, scalable, and secure serverless microservices (Node.js and AWS Lambda).
• Map and define logic for complex, multi-step business workflows and distributed applications utilizing AWS Step Functions.
• Document API data contracts, JSON payloads, and system integration points within the AWS ecosystem.

Frontend & UX Alignment

• Translate business needs into functional specifications for responsive web interfaces built with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).
• Ensure seamless alignment of user journeys and data flow between frontend components and backend APIs.

Database & Data Modeling

• Write complex SQL queries for data discovery, validation, and business logic verification.
• Analyze relational database structures (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) to define data mapping, dictionaries, and data integrity rules.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

• Create and manage detailed user stories with robust technical acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software features.
• Lead requirements workshops, participate in sprint ceremonies, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage functional queries from developers.

Technical Qualifications

• Systems Analysis: Proficient in technical documentation, data flow mapping, and architectural diagramming.
• AWS Ecosystem: Practical understanding of AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions to translate business logic into cloud workflows is mandatory. Familiarity with API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch is highly desirable.
• Databases: Strong proficiency in SQL and analyzing relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Frontend & APIs: Understanding of modern frontend frameworks (React.js) and hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs (e.g., via Postman).
• Tools & Practices: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Soft Skills & Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of professional Business Systems Analysis experience working directly alongside full-stack software development teams.
• Availability: Must be available to join immediately or within a maximum of 15 days.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to untangle ambiguous business problems and map out complex technical solutions quickly.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both engineering teams and business stakeholders, managing expectations and SLA timelines.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
