Pickup Truck & Gooseneck Trailer Driver

Nexora Freight Solutions Ltd. is a new and growing transportation and logistics startup based in Edmonton, Alberta. We provide reliable freight transportation, hot shot delivery, and logistics solutions for customers across Alberta, including industrial, construction, and oilfield operations.

We are looking for an experienced Hot Shot Pickup Truck & Gooseneck Trailer Driver to operate our company-owned 1-ton pickup truck with a 36 ft gooseneck flatbed trailer and support our growing operations.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting freight, equipment, and materials throughout Alberta, including oilfield and industrial locations. This position requires a safety-focused driver who is experienced with gooseneck trailers, load securement, and working in remote job site environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 1-ton pickup truck with a 36 ft gooseneck flatbed trailer
• Haul freight, equipment, and materials to industrial and oilfield locations
• Perform deliveries to locations such as Kearl Lake, Fort McMurray, Fort Saskatchewan, and other oil sands and industrial sites
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Properly secure loads using chains, straps, and required equipment
• Complete delivery paperwork and communicate with dispatch
• Follow all Alberta transportation regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain a professional relationship with customers, site personnel, and partners

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of pickup truck and gooseneck trailer driving experience (required for commercial insurance purposes)
• Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s licence
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Experience hauling flatbed, equipment, construction materials, or oilfield-related freight is an asset
• Experience working on industrial or remote job sites preferred
• Strong knowledge of load securement and safe hauling practices
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver a long gooseneck trailer
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused

Compensation & Benefits

• $25.00 – $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time position with consistent work opportunities
