THE ROLE:

STRIVE is currently hiring Production Worker / Heavy General Labourers for a leading manufacturing facility in Paris, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy physically active work and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing. You will be responsible for supporting production operations through material handling, machine loading, quality inspection, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable performing repetitive lifting throughout their shift in Paris ON. The position starts on a straight afternoon shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). Beginning in September, the operation will transition to 12-hour continental shifts, providing employees with more days off while maintaining full-time hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform heavy material handling, lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Offloading finished products from production lines and prepare them for shipping department
Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
Monitor equipment during operation and report any mechanical or quality concerns
Safely clear minor production jams while following lockout/tagout procedures
Read production schedules and follow work instructions accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labour experience is considered an asset
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis throughout the shift
Comfortable standing, bending, twisting, lifting, walking, and performing repetitive physical work
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good verbal and written English communication skills
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Reliable transportation to Paris, ON
Clear criminal background check
High level of reliability, attendance, and work ethic
Willingness to work afternoon shifts with a transition to continental shifts in September
