Job Description:The Social Worker – BSW, reporting directly to the Social Worker – BSW – Senior, has responsibility for professional psychosocial assessment and counselling with clients and families who are managing social and emotional impacts associated with physical illness. The Social Worker – BSW receives clinical supervision and administrative direction from the Manager and/or designate. The Social Worker – BSW is a competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, families and groups. They offer a professional working relationship, including an understanding of the social work role, of a conceptual model of practice, and of the SHA philosophy, objectives and policies. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
