Temporary Health and Safety Supervisor
August 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026 with possibility of extension
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board serves over 38,000 learners and provides services to students in 51 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12 and adult learners) across the Waterloo Region.

General Description of Duties:
The Health and Safety Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining health & safety procedures, programs, processes, developing training programs and ensuring organization compliance with legislative requirements and applicable collective agreements. The successful incumbent will report to the Manager of Human Resources and directly supervise the Health and Safety Team, including a Health and Safety Partner and Health and Safety Assistant, and oversee the administration of various consultants. As a member of the Human Resource Services Management Team, the Senior Health and Safety Partner works with key stakeholders to proactively reduce employee accidents and injuries and provides advice and recommendations to the Board as the occupational health and safety expert. Salary Range:PASS – Level 9, $104,436.59 to $122,866.28 per year in accordance with the PASS Terms of Employment Hours of Work: Temporary full-time: 35 hours per week / 52 weeks per year – August 1 to October 31, 2026. Location(s):Catholic Education Centre, 35 Weber St., Kitchener,ON and frequent travel to schools across the system.
OnSite Work Requirements:The successful incumbent is to be available to work on-site for a minimum of four (4) days per week. During peak operational periods, this position may be required to work on-site up to five (5) days per week to support organizational needs.
