Role overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Engine Assembler to build and assemble automotive and industrial internal combustion engines. In this role, you will assemble precision mechanical components to assemble engine assemblies. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with precision measuring tools, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Core Responsibilities

  • Component Assembly: Build complete engines and sub-assemblies by fitting pistons, crankshafts, valves, and gaskets.
  • Quality Inspection: Measure critical tolerances using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and torque wrenches.

  • Workspace Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere strictly to all safety and PPE protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in engine assembly, automotive repair, or precision mechanical manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with pneumatic tools, hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods during the shift.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional focus on accuracy to prevent component failure and ensure strict tolerance compliance.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification in automotive or mechanical technician programs is a strong asset.
