Whether you’re a registered 1st year apprentice or someone passionate about vehicles and looking to begin your automotive journey, this is your opportunity to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in a modern, high-end dealership environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in supporting our service department by assisting technicians and keeping our shop running smoothly and efficiently. Your duties will include:

Shop Support Duties:

Move and park customer and inventory vehicles around the lot and service bays

Perform tire rotations, oil changes, battery checks, and fluid top-ups (as trained)

Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment under supervision

Gain exposure to Volvo’s advanced vehicle technology and repair procedures

Support pre-delivery inspections and basic servicing on new and used vehicles

Maintain cleanliness and organization in service bays and the shop floor

Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly

Dispose of used oil, filters, and shop waste following environmental procedures

Assist with parts runs, inventory organization, and receiving deliveries

Clean and detail vehicles when needed

Provide general assistance to technicians, service advisors, and the service manager

Who We’re Looking For

Enthusiastic and dependable individual with a strong interest in automotive repair

Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a physically active environment

Willingness to learn, take direction, and be a team player

Good communication and a positive, can-do attitude
