Material Handler

Puts pallets away, stages materials for production, picks and stages customer orders, receives, ships and helps with other warehouse activities as directed by the Warehouse Unit Leader/Supervisor/Manager. Our ideal candidate must be reliable, dependable, and experienced operating both a Narrow Aisle Crown Reach Truck and Counter Balanced Forklift. Responsibilities: · Operate all equipment safely and efficiently at all times. · Load and unload trailers. · Verify inbound and outbound loads against supplied paperwork. · Assist with product identification as required. · Complete daily safety checks on Reach and Forklift equipment. · Assist in Shipping, Picking, Production, and Receiving as required. Requirements: · Five (5) years minimum operating Narrow Aisle Reach and Counter Balanced Forklift. · Must be comfortable using a handheld RF scanner for live inventory movement. · Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. · Good communication skills. · Understanding of safe Reach Truck and Forklift operation. · Valid Reach Truck and Counter Balanced Forklift certification. Job Details: · Training: 2-3 weeks on days, approximately 8:00 AM-4:30 PM at $21/hr. · Regular Shift: Monday-Friday, approximately 3:00 PM-11:00/11:30 PM. · Pay: $23/hr on afternoons · Candidate will be required to complete a driving test. Requirements: Special Instructions This is a temp-to-full-time position Initial training will be 2-3 weeks on day shift Training hours will be approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Training pay rate is $21.00 per hour Regular shift is Monday to Friday afternoons Afternoon hours are approximately 3:00 PM to 11:00/11:30 PM Afternoon pay rate is $23.00 per hour including shift premium Must have valid Reach Truck and Counter Balanced Forklift certification Must be experienced using a handheld RF scanner for live inventory Candidate will be required to complete a driving test Qualifications: Qualifications Minimum 5 years operating Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and Counter Balanced Forklift Valid Reach Truck and Counter Balanced Forklift certification required Experience using a handheld RF scanner required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication skills Strong understanding of safe forklift operation Reliable and dependable Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment Previous material handling experience required Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
