We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance our Revenue Recognition ecosystem across Salesforce, D365, Oracle, and Zuora RevPro. This role partners closely with Finance, Quote-to-Cash, Product Ops, and Business Applications teams to deliver scalable, compliant revenue solutions. The position is part of the Receivables & Revenue application portfolio, which owns high-visibility deliverables including ERP modernization, revenue automation, PSA integrations, and IPO readiness initiatives.
The Revenue Recognition BSA partners with Finance, Order-to-Cash, Product Ops, and Business Applications teams to design, refine, and support revenue recognition processes across Salesforce, D365, Oracle, and Zuora RevPro. This role requires strong end-to-end understanding of ASC 606/IFRS 15 compliance, multi-system integration flows, and hands-on experience with RevPro configuration, data mapping, and revenue automation. This position also collaborates closely with upstream CRM and Salesforce CPQ teams; and financial systems stakeholders to ensure accurate performance obligation creation, invoicing data flow, and revenue release logic.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Elicitation & User Story Development
- Capture and refine user stories related to revenue accounting flows, including contract creation, project modifications, terminations, and revenue release events.
- Analyze existing integrations and document build-ready enhancements (Salesforce-to-RevPro, D365 ERP-to-RevPro, Oracle ERP-to-RevPro).
2. RevPro Solution Design & Configuration
- Recommend and design RevPro configurations aligned with revenue policies, PSA product offerings, and multi-element arrangements.
- Support design of revenue recognition methodologies and performance obligations, including percentage-completion models.
- Collaborate with technical teams on ETL design, mapping, iPaaS logic, and transformation rules required for RevPro ingestion.
3. Data Integration & System Flows
- Partner with owners of Salesforce CPQ, D365, Oracle, and Informatica/iHub to ensure contract, invoice, and GL data is synchronized accurately into RevPro.
- Troubleshoot data issues such as missing invoices, repulled SO lines, and template transformation errors across revenue systems.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Receivables & Revenue, Order-to-Cash, Product Ops, and Finance leadership to deliver roadmap items and strategic application solutions.
- Partner with QA to define test plans, support testing cycles, validate revenue schedules, and ensure completeness of end-to-end revenue flows.
5. Process Improvement & Thought Leadership
- Contribute to future-state revenue automation strategies, including forecasting integrations, data migration readiness, and ERP modernization initiatives.
- Advocate for standardization and visibility in revenue processes and exceptions, especially during SKU creation and contract setup.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong domain knowledge of Zuora RevPro including revenue arrangement creation, event processing, templates, SSP rules, waterfall logic, and GL journal generation.
- Experience in ASC 606/IFRS 15 revenue recognition models.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Salesforce Order/Contract structures
- D365 ERP or Oracle finance modules (AR, GL)
- ETL/integration mapping and validation
- Proven ability to document functional design specifications, data flows, and integration requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex system landscapes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PSA (Certinia), Salesforce integrations, or Oracle data flows into RevPro.
- Familiarity with ETL tooling (Informatica), GL consolidation, and revenue forecasting integrations
- Knowledge of upstream product/SKU setup and its impact on revenue flows.
